Rio Grande - Oldenburg

From Borger on his way to Poland and stopped here for a bite to eat, delicious food and good service.

I wanted to have a nice evening with my girlfriend and so we decided to test the buffet at the Rio Grande. Unfortunately, the selection was quite small and also from taste we did not find it outstanding. The price for the buffet is absolutely not appropriate.

After a long working day I discovered this beautiful Mexican restaurant in downtown Oldenburg. The cocktail card has been very successful. The Long Island Ice Tea and the Planter's Punch are highly recommended. I tried the mozzarella and tomatoes served with a delicious dressing and fresh tortillas. To the roasted salmon, delicious rice, fried vegetables and vinegar chilli were served. SERVICE and AMBIENTE The service was very nice. In the restaurant it is quite dark with small corners where you can be private. The music is also good. FAZIT A good restaurant if you want to have a taste of something.

I really didn't taste the food. I was really looking forward to a selection of tapas I did not find. I finally decided for a baked sheep cheese. Two small particles were delivered. One of them had been hard and baked for too long. When we wanted to pay, we had to ask three times, as the lady had been so intensively talking to two gentlemen that she hadn't been disturbed. We wanted to go, because then she would have noticed us.

We wanted to drink some cocktails before the cinema and eat a little bite. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We would certainly visit this place again
