Sort of straight forward food. Always very good, but don't expect creative. Nice New England ambiance. Very friendly and super-helpful staff; we had someone in a walker and they were lovely in how they took care of us. Only issue was very slow dinner service; they may have been understaffed, but it just seemed inefficient. But, as I said, exceptionally friendly and nice. View all feedback.
What Ben Daugherty doesn't like about Old Lyme Inn:
Nice breakfast. Menu limited. No Hasch-Brauen, housekeepers were burned. Good service. Quiet only in the next dining room, the main is a zoo. A piano player does not need a trio. Moderate prices. View all feedback.
Enjoy a lovely summer morning at the Old Lyme Inn, surrounded by a beautiful garden and shade trees with a gentle breeze. Listen to a fantastic jazz band while indulging in delicious omelets, pancakes, and egg breakfasts. The "Jazzy Brunch" comes highly recommended - a perfect way to start your day!
Lovely environment with good service and music for brunch
Beautiful spot . Food was delicious and ambience was so fun.
This was fun and great day out. I would do this again. The food was amazing to look at, as well as flavor. I went to the Wizard of Oz event. The only thing that would have been a great addition, if they were playing the movie while we were eating. That would have been so perfect! I am already planning in August for friends from another state to experience.
First time for us experiencing an afternoon tea. Was a lovely experience. Would definitely come back for another tea
