What User doesn't like about J & A Chinese Food:
We've noticed a decrease in portion and quality as time has gone on. Worse than that, is the customer service. I had a bad experience once, took a break and thought we'd try again. The first time I was yelled at for ordering in a way the chef refused to accommodate (substituting vegetarian rice for a poultry allergy). We took a break from ordering from here for a long time. We had the combo for 3 plus dumplings...everything was flavorless and the chow mein had No sauce..very disappointing..this meal cost me 70.00..not cool.I asked for extra plum sauce and we did not get one single packet.The dumplings were dry with no flavor.
Take out.First time ordering here. This is probably the most dull flavoured Chinese food we have ever had. 3 adults and 3 kids all super disappointed. Unfortunately will never order from here again.
Have been buying take out from J&A for years. Love it! They are a small restaurant so they do get overwhelmed with orders and sometimes long waits and wrong orders happen. The overall experience is worth the little inconveniences. Most of the people who are giving poor ratings sound like they shouldn't be allowed outside or play with others. Okotoks is the most entitled little city I've ever lived in. Lol.
