The library has very nice, tranquil atmosphere and they always have the newest publications regarding US authors. Furthermore, the study program of North American Studies is interdisciplinary. Students can choose 3 out of 6 disciplines (Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Literature, Culture and History). The members of the institute are really like family to one another, everyone greets each other and there is an overall professional, but chill atmosphere to things. The building does also have a student-run cafeteria in the basement where one can get some snacks or a cup of tea/coffee. I can only recommend the study program!
