We had a fantastic dinning experience at the Matterhorn. The food was amazing,my partner and I really enjoyed the Tomohawk steak which came with delish sauces and a large selection of sides to choose from. Located above the Powderkeg Restaurant in the Powderhorn Chateau hotel. Unlike the downstairs restaurant this one is only open Thursdays to Sundays, and is a bit fancier chandeliers, real candles at the table, and a more refined menu. The eye fillet was excellent, and came with great sides and sauces from a pretty extensive menu of choices. The atmosphere is that of a fancy chalet, including a large fire where they cook mulled wine. There's also a nice bar in the centre.
Great environment, warm and welcoming. We will be back!
