Every year without fail, this is one of our top spots to enjoy seafood and a cocktail as we celebrate our arrival in Ogunquit!
A must-visit spot whenever you're in Perkins Cove! It's the only place that serves French fries, which is fantastic when traveling with kids. The rum punch is amazing, and the lobster grilled cheese is simply delicious! Yum!
The stunning view is what keeps this restaurant in business. The clam chowder was just mediocre, but the lobster bisque was quite delicious. I ordered the ricotta salad, which was overwhelmed by a mustard seed dressing, and I added some lobster meat on top. Unfortunately, I kept having to pull shell pieces out of my mouth. My child ordered a burger and fries, but the fries were so pale that I questioned how they were cooked. The fish and chips lacked flavor as well. Shortly after we left, we all ended up with upset stomachs. I won’t be coming back.
Wonderful spot. To my surprise, we were seated immediately despite it being a busy day. Our waitress, Rhiannon, was incredibly kind and attentive. The service was prompt—we never had to wait for anything—and she served us with a genuine smile. She's the best waitress I've encountered in Maine so far. The food was excellent as well (goat cheese salad and baked stuffed haddock), with very reasonable prices considering the location and portion sizes. Definitely recommend!
My friends and I were seated in a stunning spot near the incoming tide. I've never had an experience quite like it—being so close to the water felt surprisingly comfortable, with no strong winds, chill, or worrying about seagulls stealing my food. The ambiance was just right, thanks to a tent-like cover that shielded us from the sun and sheer curtains that gently blocked the breeze. I ordered the seafood pasta, which was delicious—rich, creamy, perfectly cooked, and served in a portion large enough that I also had dinner later at home. This place is a must-visit if you want to truly enjoy Maine.
