This morning, I was at Maverik, filling up my gas before school, when a woman approached me, crying on the phone, asking for money. I felt compelled to help, so I gave her what I could. Later in the day, after school, I was on my way to work when my boss called to let me know he'd be a bit late. Feeling hungry, I decided to stop by Wendy's at 1241 Washington Blvd in Ogden, Utah, for a few Spicy Chicken Go Wraps. When I pulled up to the drive-thru and handed over my card, the lady at the window told me, “The person in front of you paid for your meal and even bought you an extra order.” I can't express how incredible that made me feel. Knowing I had helped someone earlier in the day, and now, in return, a stranger had brightened my day, was truly uplifting. It was a moment that felt like a divine message—proof that good people still exist, even amidst all the negativity we see in the media and during this election season. You can be that person who spreads kindness, just by being willing to help someone else. I am so grateful for those generous souls in my life. If you're one of those people, thank you. - Collin Devino
I absolutely adore your strawberry fields salad; it's incredibly delicious! Plus, your blackberry lemonade is the best I've ever had.
The coffee is excellent, and the menu offers a great selection.
