Kobe - Ogden

I want to start this by saying we walked in the door 20 minutes before they closed in active gear they greeted us warmly as if they had all night. Our server (my little person thinks her name was Tonya) chef were both incredible the Hibachi was cooked perfectly. Would absolutely return if we were in the area.

I love going to teppanyaki type places Kobe did not disappoint! Went here with some friends it was so fun to have a little show during dinner. We ordered the pear sake (warm). It was okay, a little too strong not sweet enough for my liking but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. We shared an order of Gyoza which came out pretty quick but I didn't realize how much food actually comes with your meal. I probably would skip an appetizer next time. I ordered a vegetarian entrée (not necessarily featured on their menu that I saw) my boyfriend ordered the Filet Mignon and chicken entrée. Each entrée comes with a side salad a cup of house soup/miso soup. I really enjoyed the dressing on the house salad. My soup was full of tofu, I didn't love that. But the broth was good! My boyfriend loved the house soup with his order. The fried rice was excellent and our friend ordered the noodles those also looked really good! I just ordered the regular white rice, but I wish I ordered the fried rice! Next time I will do that. It was amazing watching them cook right in front of you they always make the show really fun! The fresh veggies were delicious! I loved the zucchini mushrooms! I tried both the chicken and filet mignon in my boyfriends dish. The chicken was okay but the filet mignon was phenomenal!! that's coming from a vegetarian. I loved the teriyaki sauce on this I loved that they cut it up into small pieces. Loved this place highly recommend, perfect for a date night!!!

I have been to a lot of Teppanyaki places across the country. Last time we were here was over 50 years ago. Might be 100 years before I go back. As expected, you start with soup followed by a salad. Here also only before you can finish your soup, your salad arrives. I ordered the filet with lobster and my wife ordered the filet with shrimp. We both ordered fried rice. The veggies in the fried rice were so small you couldn't even detect them. And the chef added chicken to the fried rice. I ordered my steak med-rear and my wife ordered hers med. the show put on by the chef was lacking and not up to expectations. My steak was very tough as were the shrimp. Way over cooked. So the meal was very lacking and not good. So we will not be going back any time soon. There are many other Teppanyaki places that are much better. This place depends on its old reputation as it was one of the first here and they still think they are the best. I will avoid and so should you. Way over priced for poor food.

The entire experience was the best I've had at any Teppan grill and I've been to many around the country! Hats off to amazing food, service, ambiance and a chef who still enjoys his performing! Great experience!

Always a classic!! I'm not usually a hungry guy but we always go here on my great grandmother's birthday, and the ambiance is PHENOMENAL. So pretty, so tranquil and the employees were wonderful. But about the food, talk about WILD!! And I mean in the best ways possible! Super delicious, real steak, chicken and shrimp cooked right in front of you! Pricing is a little much but it's still a fantastic time with family and food!!
