I always have a great time at this restaurant! It's a shame they close in the winter, but I enjoy the options they have for seating and a dance floor. The drinks are generally great, although they don't serve AMFs. Everything I've tried here has been tasty, thanks to the variety of bar offerings.
This restaurant is a must-visit in Ogden, as it is one of the few places where you can really let loose on the dance floor. However, the highlight for me is the live band! After 10 o'clock on weekends, the atmosphere becomes lively and exciting. While the drinks may be on the pricier side, they are delicious. It's a great spot to people-watch or strike up a conversation with strangers.
The atmosphere upstairs is simple with basic drinks, noisy kids, and a strong odor. It seems like this environment is suited for young adults to unwind, but could benefit from more staff and cleaner cups. The bar downstairs, on the other hand, was fantastic. The same establishment has a better vibe downstairs, with more relaxed surroundings and great deals. I will definitely return.
It's a good place to go if you live nearby and don't want to go down to SLC for a dancing/party club. They charge 5 to 10 dollars at the door in cash so keep that in mind.
We've always loved our visits to Alleged and Unspoken. The rooftop atmosphere can't be beat. DJ's on a regular basis, and they're all stellar. The bar staff are always quick, courteous and happy to accommodate. Security is prompt and attentive. Lots of locals, but absolutely worth checking out if you're visiting from out of town or in the area for one of the Twilight shows.
