The monastery invites you already not to skip a visit even if the time is not much. Actually the whole town centre is very pleasant especially when you arrive to the town hall square. In the cellar I've have tasted 6 local wines including the whites Passerina and Pecorino, a Rosso Piceno, a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and 2 sweet wines. These last two were a real kick which i could feel while walking for the next hour in the heat of a summer day. Obviously it is possible to purchase any bottle they have in stock but also local specialities very worth trying.
