The Chef spoke only a little English but his love of food... read more We were treated like family when we participated in an Italian cooking class at the Ostetia dell'Olmo. The Chef spoke only a little English but his love of food and cooking came through loud and clear. We made wonderful homemade pasta, with a sausage sauce and a terrific carrot cake. The staff were fun and the made this experience a highlight of our Italian vacation. We will definitely return to Italy but in the mean time we will make our new recipes at home

The name over the door is Cant... read more We were visiting lovely little Offida with some Italian friends. Our friend from Offida booked us for aperitivo at this wine bar. The name over the door is Cantinetta dell 'Olmo and it is located on the main street. We were greeted by “The Baron” (reallly) who is the proprietor and he took good care of us. He is very proud of his own wines and informed us that under the floor there were 30,000 bottles of his wine ready for distribution. In addition to the expected bread and local cured meats, he served a unique selection of vegetarian appetizers that were very good. We saw others eating pasta that also looked yummy. I recommend you give this a try when in Offida – you won’t be disappointed.
