No better way waiting for a train. Oh and DO try the "Flädle Soup". It was so good I almost ordered two for myself. ;-)

It is in a strategic position - between the main bus station and tr... read more This is a cute little café that is very practical for anyone who uses public transportation. It is in a strategic position - between the main bus station and train station - in Offenburg. I went there just to have desserts and a cup of coffee because I had to kill one hour before my train. The café had regular breakfast and lunch food, ice cream and other desserts. I have gone passing this place many times and have often seen it full. Many take their breakfast to go as well.When I was there it was after the lunch hour, but they still had customers. They had a good selection of ice cream, which made it popular anytime during summer. The place was managed by a very nice elderly man and a woman who were working like bees.It is probably not the place to go to celebrate your birthday or anniversary, but it is a great place while waiting for your public transportation.

It’s a perf... read more Very nice café close to the train station in Offenburg. The guys working here are from Kazakhstan and they provide really friendly and warm service. It’s a perfect place to sit, relax and have a good coffee while waiting for your train. The atmosphere is cozy and calm, and the coffee tastes great. Just note that the take-away prices are cheaper than the prices if you sit inside the café — inside prices are a bit higher. I paid 14.60 € for 2 cappuccinos, 1 cheesecake and 1 cornetto, which is higher.
