She did... read more My wife and me just went to dinner at this place. My wife ordered a salad without any cabbage. What we got WAS actually a salad with plenty of cabbage. She did not see it firstly, because there was green salad above it. When the waiter asked if everything would be ok she said yes , but then as she continued to eat through the meal she discovered the cabbage. The waiter explained that she mixed the salad up with someone else, so another table received what we ordered. But this did not bother her at all, and when the manager came he, too, said that we stated all would be fine at the beginning and that is what we have now and we have to pay for all, full amount. The way the manager handled the situation was really annoying, he even called me an idiot , can 't believe it. Beside this story, this place has average food, if not below average food, anyway. Too expensive for what it is. Definitely disappointing in many ways. They just don 't care, as he said in my face!

Nothing special on the menu, it is kind of standard soups, salads, some pasta dishes, chicken, some local dishes... but it is well prepared and nicely presented. We were also quite satisfied with the service. We were not sure we had sufficient time for eating, since we were going to a show starting less than one hour after we came into the restaurant but we told the waiter, and they made sure that we had no waiting time, so we finished eating with time to spare. The decoration is nice, if a little bare.

The selected dishes corresponded to expectations and were pleasant. However, access via several steep steps is very difficult.

It pays tribute to the city 's important role in the German democratic movement. Very friendly staff, a good time in a very pleasant setting.
