Initialled told only tables available where two not under cover and as rain was expected w... read more Very rude approach by staff member when we asked for a table for two. Initialled told only tables available where two not under cover and as rain was expected we would not be able to be accommodated inside. As weather turned, we where then offered a table under an umbrella. When sudden and very bad weather decended and sent everything on tables flying we assisted staff scrambling to bring table wear and glasses inside. Our fortune somehow changed and a table became available inside. From here on in the service was very attentive and food plentiful and delicious and our meal was discounted in price. This trattoria was recommended but initial treatment recieved almost made us leave. Be kind and welcoming. There are nice ways to say we are full. A suggestion, if bookings are required, make a mention of this on your website.
