Today stopped here to try the new crispy chicken sandwich, which is Wendy's entry into the chicken sandwich wars. Especially asked for her NEW chicken sandwich, but got this deep-fried frozen chicken patty. If it's Wendy's new chicken sandwich to compete with Chick-fli-a and Popeyes, Wendy's failure failed. On a Saturday night at 7 PM, the restaurant appeared to be closed, with no lights on outside or inside except for by the register. The menu signs were also unlit. Initially, we assumed it was closed until we noticed a car in the drive-thru as we drove by. When we returned, the car was gone, and the staff were outside smoking. That's not exactly reassuring when it comes to food preparation. It seemed like they wanted to give the impression of being closed. I think I'll take my business elsewhere.
