We visited the O'Fallon, MO location on November 25th at 8:30 PM and ordered the prime rib, a blooming onion, and a bowl of potato soup. I asked for my prime rib to be cooked rare, but was informed that only medium was available (which should have been a warning sign for me). Unfortunately, it was tough and tasted old. The mashed potatoes were dry, and the blooming onion had a burnt flavor. My husband said the potato soup was terrible. On a positive note, the service was fantastic. However, I think I will look for a different place to eat next time.
Went back to Outback Steak House in O 'Fallon for the first time since Covid. Have to say, not the same as a couple of years ago. I had the 8 oz. Sirloin and shrimp. Ordered a baked potato and Ceasar salad as my side. Got steam vegetables instead of mysalad. My wife asked the waitress is they she could still get the unlimited soup and salad like they have at lunch. Waitresssaid sure... still available. Potatoe soup that used to be so good was water down and was terrible. When she tried to get moresalad, the waitress said there were no refills. When we questioned her about the unlimited, she pulled the oh, I 'm new and onlybeen here 2 weeks... let me ask my manager. Manager told her that ended at lunch... not what we were told. Didn 't make thewife very happy. ????
On Saturday, October 22, 2022, we ordered takeout from your O'Fallon, MO location. Our bill for the Alice Springs chicken, wings, and Caesar salad came to a staggering $43.94! Curious about the pricing, I did some research and found your 2021 menu online. For instance, the price of the Alice Springs chicken has jumped from $12.99 in 2021 to $19.99 now—a shocking 53% increase! I understand that our country is facing inflation, but this is clearly a case of price gouging. There’s no justification for such drastic price hikes other than to boost your profits under the guise of inflation. As a result, I will not be returning as a customer in the future. I refuse to support businesses that engage in price gouging.
I ordered the filet with broccoli and a loaded baked potato to go. When I got home, everything was exactly as I ordered (which is a small miracle compared to some other places I’ve ordered takeout from) and it was all cooked to perfection. My daughter's cheeseburger was perfectly cooked too, according to her.
Our dinner was ordered as curbside order. I pulled up to curbside, sat and waited for someone to deliver our food. After sitting for 10 minutes and waiting, I walked in to curbside/pickup door. I seen our bag of food, but no employees. So I grabbed my foodand took it home to my family. While getting home, which is only a 6 minute drive, we found the majority of the food cold orLuke warm at best. The $30 ribeye was the worst cut of meat I have ever seen, so much fat( and other chewy stuff/sorry not surethe correct term for that) My wife?s chicken sandwich had a weird sour taste to it. Hopefully she doesn?t get sick from this. This is the 5time eating here. The first time was absolutely horrible, food, service, etc? we gave them a few other chances. The2nd,3rd,and 4th time the food and service was excellent. It confuses me how things can change so much. My recommendation is findanother steak house besides this, or take your chances. Way too inconsistent. It might be awesome, or it might be horrible.Roll the dice, you never know what your going to get.
