The lovely place would be enough, the room is semicircular and large, the fineness of the furniture and the distance of the tables have impressed us. high quality food with delicious preparations, impeccable service and without smearing. it is said that perfection does not exist but here we go very close. SUBSTANTIAL FINE CUISINE We've been returning to Gellius Restaurant for years, and each time we find it reassuring. The cuisine is classy, precise, and distinctive. The open kitchen produces masterfully crafted masterpieces. The service is friendly and never intrusive, and the wine selection by the glass is consistent with the dishes. We were won over by the carpione sea bass, the tagliatelle with cavolo nero and hare, the spaghetti alla chitarra with truffle, and above all, the pigeon, which alone is worth the trip. The flavors are international yet firmly rooted in the region. The bill is substantial but absolutely in line with the offerings. The Michelin star is certainly no accident.
Very good and well-prepared dishes. The location is charming and the service is very friendly. I have one complaint, however, because one of my plates arrived with a hair in it. I fully understand that these accidents can happen, but at a restaurant like this, these incidents are particularly annoying. Overall, a great experience.
Great experience. Excellent food, top-notch service, and a modern atmosphere that I really like. Truly high-quality offerings. Prices are moderately high, but in line with similarly priced restaurants.
A simply extraordinary experience. The six-course tasting menu at Ristorante Gellius is a true sensory journey: carefully crafted, surprising, and perfectly balanced dishes that will literally leave you speechless. The atmosphere is rare in its calm—the only thing you have to do is let go and enjoy the moment. The staff, impeccable in every detail, takes care of the rest: top-notch service, attentive but never intrusive. The location is truly unique: dining surrounded by Roman ruins is an experience that combines elegance and history, making everything even more special. A Michelin-starred restaurant that deserves every single accolade.
Definitely the best restaurant in town, probably one of the best in the province, undoubtedly one of my favourites. Excellent food, the chef manages to take guests through a richly flavoured and always balanced journey. Interesting wine pairings, well worth the effort. Atmosphere a bit stuffy but you know, that also depends on the clientele of the moment. We will definitely see you again!

Dinner in couple choosing an à la carte menu with fish with wines paired with sommelier. remarkable experience, refined flavors that enhance the excellent raw materials, presentation and service treated in every aspect, young collaborators prepared and very friendly. experience to repeat. Congratulations.
Each dish was presented in detail...the flavors of each of them a delight... sublime sweet. I didn't like, the greeting and the treats offered by the chef...to review in my opinion. excellent combination of wines. local a little too dark for my personal goto.
I think this is the second time I make a review, but honestly I couldn't help it! I could write many positive things, starting from the aesthetics of the place to the excellent quality of the dishes and the elegance of the presentation, but I prefer to express a particular praise to the people (all) who in this place work! starting from the girl at the bar we just arrived she immediately realized that we were looking for the entrance of the restaurant, and with an enviable kindness of accompanied, up to all the boys of the restaurant! the way you pore and the style you have makes everything more beautiful, the total absence of arrogance and availability and propensity to the satisfaction of people give you an extra march! in a world, yours, where you often collide with a certain sense of superiority, strong of a star or more, having found you so available to change the degotation menus to come to meet those who were with me who did not like the fish, and to admire! and for this reason I thank infinitely all the kitchen starting from the chef!
