The service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate our special... read more Yesterday, the four of us (two couples) ate at the Herzogenhof. The service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate our special requests regarding long drinks. We all ordered the rump steak and were all dissatisfied. It was very fatty, tough, and difficult to chew, all for €36 per person. We politely commented on this at the end, and the waiter said he would pass it on to the kitchen. Unfortunately, we weren't offered a complimentary espresso or anything else, which is often customary in such cases. Overall, we were more than disappointed with the quality of the most expensive dish on the menu and won't be returning.

The service is great! I 'd have to deduct one or two stars for the food. We had the half chicken and the rump steak. Neither was juicy enough. And the price for the rump steak is about €10 more expensive than at other restaurants/steakhouses in the area. I didn 't find anything that justifies this price. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit. What a shame...
