There are fish, seafoo... read more The Pagode is a good place for a meal in the town of Odenthal. They have a surprisingly large selection for their buffet lunch or dinner. There are fish, seafood and meat dishes and a variety of vegetable dishes to choose from. The ingredients are...fresh and delicious. They have sushi as well in the evenings. There is always a large selection of desserts to follow which consists of ice cream, cakes, lychees, etc. I am not fond of Chinese buffets as a rule but certainly enjoy this one. The staff are polite and friendly and they seem to have a good following from people who live in the area. The Pagode is a good Chinese buffet with abundance and a great selection to choose from so you will most certainly find something that you will like while visiting a quaint village in the Rhineland!

The food was... read more We went to the Pagode Restaurant for lunch. It is newly renovated and gives a very clean impression. We heard this is the best Chinese in the Area. The food was nice and for for the lunch Buffet all ok. But it did not...leave a lasting impression, to my taste there are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in the area that I would actually prefer.

We were alw... read more I had lunch at The Pagode twice in my two week stay in the area. We always had a wonderful waiter who served us who was very attentive to our needs. We were always greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of plum wine...after we were seated. The Pagode has quite a large buffet selection. I stuck to the shrimp and seafood dishes and especially enjoyed their salad bar. I even ventured to try a reindeer dish in a brown sauce...obviously not your typical Chinese fare but I simply had to try it since I had never had reindeer meat before. I don't generally like buffets but this one was pretty good. The food was fresh and varied and the service was good. Would go back there a third time if and when I am in the area.
