The service was friendly, and the menu was fantastic, offering a great variety of hot and cold options. There were plenty of delicious fried foods on display, as well as some fresh rolls and samosas that looked amazing. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked and burnt on one side. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Lunch Cafe:
I had a southern-style chicken burger that was quite bland, and the chips were overcooked and served cold. The bread seemed stale, and paying $9 for this meal is disappointing. I believe I didn't get charged for the chips, which was a nice gesture, but the quality of the food undermined that goodwill. On a brighter note, the rice dishes appeared to be decent. I ordered decaf and they gave me a regular coffee telling me it was decaf and now I'm pinging off the walls because I haven't had caffeine in years
This is a relaxing place to have a coffee and a snack. Not open Tuesdays.

This place does nice salad rolls, made to order. Some good hot food too I liked the steamed rice and casserole dish. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20
Bland southern style chicken burger, overcooked cold ish chips, Stale Bread and $9 for that is just sad.. Pretty sure I didn 't pay for the chips, which was a nice gesture, but they shot themselves in the foot with the quality even if free. The Rice meals don 't look too bad though.
