Just once out of 10 visits has this outlet lived up to the Subway standard. Usual greeting - sorry we do not have much bread left. Today at 9am - white bread only and even then it was crumbly, One egg left at 9am in the morning for breakfast which was cut into 4 quarters to fit a 12" sub. The second 12" sub had no egg - but don't worry I'm told I'll give you bacon for free. So Bacon and one Egg 12" roll is $7.40 but because there was no egg for mine, and I was told I would not be charged for the bacon - I got charged for a Veggie Delight instead - $7.95. When I pointed out to the young lass that although she did not charge me for the bacon - I in fact was charged more and I got less. Response - sorry I don't set the prices. I said think about it, you charged me more than if I just got a bacon and egg sub but no egg. Oh - yes I see what you are saying. Will remember for next time. Seriously guys you are letting down the Subway outlet chain. Need to lift your game.
I really like Subway because it's one of the healthiest fast food options available. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it has higher quality.
I enjoy treating myself to lunch on Fridays (or whenever I happen to be on that end of St Georges Terrace) with a wrap from Subway. Delicious!
