Very authentic Korean food for North SD. I grew up in LA/OC where the Korean food is amazing and on par with what you can find in South Korea. I was genuinely surprised to find this small mom and pop restaurant that specializes in fantastic bibimbap! Ordering is very similar to what you would find at a build your own restaurant (think Chipotle for example). You pick your base: fried rice, white rice, brown rice, salad or jap-chae (Korean glass noodles). You can also do half and half bases for $1 extra. As for the proteins, they offer great Korean options such as KFC (Korean fried chicken), bulgogi, or spicy pork/chicken. Toppings go wild!! Pick what your heart desires. For the sauces, you have to try the gochujang. It's like a spicy and sweet sauce that is typically served with bibimbap. The great thing about bibimbap is you can build a pretty healthy option that is filling! If it's your first time, I recommend getting it in with the hot stone. It activates all the flavors in your bowl and makes it oh so delicious. I will be back!

Got the spicy chicken over white rice with some stuff on top. Tasty and I didn't even need to add anything else, although I did just for fun. Lots of options for the bowls. Variety of sauces on the tables as well. The dining area could have been cleaner but after my group was seated an employee came out to straighten up so timing on the that. Definitely needs a deep clean though.
