I really love the hideaway. The food and service are exceptional. They have one of the best spots to watch the sunset. Everyone gathered on the deck to watch the sun go down and it was gorgeous! After hours we had drinks and listened to great music in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

The food at this restaurant is superior to most establishments on Fire Island. The stunning views distract from any unpleasant odors as you move through the dining area. The building is in need of significant maintenance. The service was friendly, and the management embodies the typical tourist restaurant stereotype, especially for one located on an island.
IMHO one the best restaurants in ocean beach. Great place to sit outside, watch sunset over the bay and have a drink. Food has been consistently great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Expensive, but so is Fire Island generally. The difference is that here, the food is actually very good compared to the mostly-mediocre alternatives on the island. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
