Was Ethan Hewitt at Coffee Grinds a mag?
Went here for breakfast on our way to Green Sands one morning. It definitely hit the spot! Get the pesto breakfast sandwich or the BLT breakfast sandwich, it will not disappoint. The Thai sweet tea was also good, tasted like dreamsicle. View all feedback.
What Nellie Clark dislikes about Coffee Grinds:
The lady working there didn 't acknowledge us, food looked good thou. It was such a long drive there and I was craving sweets. We were looking at the menu and she walked right past us, delivered the coffee to the white man, the phone rang, she put them on hold, made more coffee and walked past us again, (we are native), she then said to us, I 'll be right with you , then went to the phone that rang long after we got... I was recommended Coffee Grinds by a local, and it turned out to be a fantastic breakfast spot. The coffee was excellent, and the view was beautiful. I enjoyed a pesto breakfast sandwich on multigrain bread, and it was incredibly fresh. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito filled with potatoes and eggs, which was enormous—large enough for two people to share. The little restaurant offers a lovely view and is conveniently located on the way to Volcanoes National Park. We will definitely stop by again when we visit the Big Island. Mahalo! Service: Dine-in.
**Parking:** It can be busy since there are multiple businesses nearby. **Wheelchair Accessibility:** Yes.
This place serves the best cheeseburgers on the Big Island, and I've tried them at almost every spot on the island. Ultimate Burger doesn’t even compare to the burger at Coffee Grinds. The white hot chocolate mochas are also really delicious. As for vegetarian options, there are plenty to choose from!
This restaurant serves an excellent sandwich featuring turkey, bacon, and avocado. The service was outstanding as well. This place is truly a hidden gem! I enjoyed dining in for lunch, and the price per person was about $10–20. I highly recommend the turkey sandwich!
This hidden gem is located in a cozy community. It's not crowded during the early hours, but the layout is well-suited for larger groups, which I'm sure come by later in the day. The prices and menu options are excellent! Service: Takeout Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
