We went to spinnakers for breakfast with the family this morning and I wanted to say a big thank you to the lovely staff. It was a wild and woolly day in Perth but inside the restaurant was warm and. cozy . The food was great and the staff wonderful. If possible get a table next to the window as the views of the harbour add to the experience. Highly recommend it to anybody thinking of a family breakfast View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spinnakers:
Thought would give this place one last go. Yep truly awful still. Nobody had a good meal. .over/undercooked, atrocious slow service. Half a table cleared so we left without considering dessert whilst all staff looked vacant. There are far too many other awesome places in perth. View all feedback.
Set away from the crowds but close to the harbour, Spinnakers is a nice restaurant, where dogs are welcome out the front and even get their own bowl. Winston's favourite local.... We had kippers and poached eggs on toast for breakfast, which was really nice. Staff are friendly. You are right next to the Indian Ocean though there isn't a view from the tables unfortunately. Inside you get a Monte Carlo-style view of the boats. Carrot cake and tea is nice too.
A nice spot next to the water but, as the West Australian said last Saturday, "$42 is too much for a main meal in Perth". Not only does this cafe charge top restaurant prices but the quality is below average. We had lunch today, had to wait quite a while for our meal in quite noisey surroundings, it's a while since we were last there and it will be an even longer while before we go back.
Loved the breakfast at Spinnakers...being that I'm not a big 'breakfast' person, I went there as part of a girlie catchup, had no idea about the place & loved it. Bit hard to find for a first timer ...northern end of Hillarys Marina, but worth the find! Away from the crowds, located on the water, great service, friendly staff and mostly great breakfast....I couldn't believe my luck when I said 'Any chance of replacing one of the eggs with a hash brown'.....the answer, 'No Problem'. It's not often anyone is prepared to do this anymore and what's more it didn't cost anymore.

We visited for a coffee, but found the service slow; not enough uniform cups for the same coffees; clearing tables slow; nearly finished 3 coffees before the fourth arrived; not very friendly.
