Haven’t been going to Subway much at all the past few years-lots of subpar service-prices rose to a point where it just wasn’t worth it, and the food quality dropped. We had some coupons and were visiting ocean isle and gave this place a shot. Was the quality and service we were accustomed to years ago. What Gordon Craighead doesn't like about Subway:
They advertise that meat is sliced when ordered but it was already sliced and in pans like always. The slicer is out front but meat is not sliced fresh. Tomatoes had no flavor and lettuce was turning brown. Wheelchair accessibility: We had trouble clearing the threshold but owner and staff were helpful. View all feedback.
The food is super delicious, I have never eaten it before and today I tried it and I liked it.
I love this location so much. They make the sandwiches perfect! Go here instead of the Shallotte location...

Subway is subway! Not so good meats in the sandwiches. If you enjoyed big bread with not so abundant food inside you will not be disappointed.
The location is conveniently located, and pickup is fast and super easy. We hit all the local beachy restaurants every vacation, but for several years, this Subway has been on our list of places we eat throughout our stay at OIB. My whole family has always been VERY satisfied with the service (we order on the app for pickup), the food has been good, orders have been correct every time.
