Sugar Shack never disappoints! Always a must visit when in Ocean Isle. Order the steak, ribs, chicken wings, coconut shrimp and you can’t go wrong. So many other delicious choices as well and don’t forget to add some of their famous sauce. The slaw, which comes with the entrees, is the best around. we just ate the sugar shack. we will never return. the only outstanding part of our meal was our waiter. he was great. our evening started badly with the door and the hostess. they were both rude. the food was overpriced and not well flavored. a great disappointment. the two women ruined it from the beginning. First time customer. Friends had recommended Sugar Shack but had not had the opportunity until now. I had the ribs and the meat just fell off the bone, add jerk sauce and even better.
