The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly. The grouper tacos were outstanding, and the spicy margarita was fresh and tasty as well. The Piggy Mac was very enjoyable, though the noodles were a bit overcooked and mushy. The prices were rather high, which is why I couldn't give a full 5 stars. Overall, a solid experience! My family and I have been coming to Ocean Isle for 5 years and really enjoyed food and service there. But in the last two years, food and service have gone to hell. tried to order a pizza at 10:00 a.m. on Friday night and they told me that the kitchen was closed after I stood at the performance counter for 10 minutes and a female employee spoke very loudly about her personal life. That was a late lunch. Service was impeccable and the shrimp meal was one of the most delicate things I've ever put in my mouth!! My friend had the Piggy Mac I believe. ...the pulled pig over it was so delicate and smoky and completely delicious. Absolutely a 5-star restaurant!
Really gorgeous beach restaurant right on the water with great views of the inlet! 100% recommend the grouper tacos!!! The pricing was very reasonable and the views were great. Only reason for 4/5 stars was the waiter wasn’t very friendly and most of the young staff were making a lot of noise and fooling around.
We called the to restaurant to place a order to go but there was no answer so we decided to go and place our order to go at the restaurant! We arrived at 7:50 and they close at 9:00 but the young lady running the to go section told us that they were not taking anymore to go orders. We had a few discussions with some of the other people in the restaurant and no one had a good answer until we talked to the bartender Jay! Basically he saved the day and spoke with somone and relayed the message to the to-go order girl and we where able to place our order. Then we had to wait an 1 hour for the order . The food was decent but the service we received was horrible at first but Jay and another young man who found me some half and half for my coffee made up for it.
Pretty good food. Definitely overpriced but not bad. Great view. I got the grouper tacos.
We are here several times a year and always enjoy the food. We think tonight was the best. Our food was EXCELLENT the service was FREE! Amazing selection, great children's menu and clean restaurant! Love to walk the cups as memento!
