Our server was attenti... read more We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Mimi's Cafe! The place was very clean, and the silverware was spotless, which we greatly appreciated. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and she was very polite. My husband and daughter ordered sweet tea, but unfortunately, it was old and tasted spoiled. However, the lemonade we got as a replacement was quite refreshing. I tried the Pain Perdue French Toast, and while the flavor was absolutely amazing, the portion size was a bit on the small side. My husband rated the parmesan-crusted chicken at 4 out of 5 stars, mentioning that the sauce tasted like it came from a can. My daughter enjoyed her kids' meal of mac and cheese with broccoli. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and we're looking forward to our next visit so I can sample more items from the menu!

We chose the three-course meal, starting with the tomato basil soup and clam chowder as appetizers. We also decided to add the spinach and artichoke dip for an extra charge. For our main dishes, the French pot roast was simply delicious; it reminded me of a home-cooked meal with love, just like my grandma used to make. My husband enjoyed the Parmesan-crusted chicken. For dessert, we tried the homemade bread pudding with Jack Daniel's glaze and the lava cake. Both were really good, though our only complaint was that the bread pudding was a bit too eggy. Overall, we look forward to returning to try their eggs Benedict options next time!

What you see is what you get! The flavor is amazing and the waiting staff are attentive but not over bearing. Potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, smoked salmon melts like butter in your tongue. The crepefelt like a guilty little pleasure as if I was eating dessert before dinner. Finally last but not least the mimosas wererefreshingly good! Not too sweet not too tart just right!

The Lemon Layer Cake was delicious, but the slice was rather small for over $11—I anticipated a medium-sized piece at that price. The fish and chips were also tasty. However, I never received the two muffins included in my order.
