amazing culinary experience! we had high expectations based on the reviews, but somehow we were still blown away. the menu, service and eating were excellent. even the attention to the smallest details and they will know what I mean when they show how much the owners care to make this place special. my wife and I ordered 4 courses each, but we wanted us to have tried more of the menu. it was totally worth the ride of... food and service was disappointing. grouper was not the best quality and prepared with too much butter. hard fish was also not the best quality and a bit overcooked and hard. service was not so great; e.g. had to ask twice for wine list, no butter with brot etc. it doesn't matter if they spend the top dollar for high quality food and service, but la cuisine just doesn't measure. La Cuisine is a little gem in historic downtown Ocala. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the ambiance is very warm and welcoming.
