I had the chicken salad which came with corn tomatoes I added avocado and beautiful dressing. For the drink I had hot chocolate and for dessert I had banana bread with their houserolls. I would definitely recommend this location as a healthy option for any lunch or dinner sit down spot in. They were verybudget friendly

Home cooking and very reasonable prices with great food. Sometimes I think the size portion looks small, but I'm always comfortablyfull. Fast service and always nice staff. Highly recommend this location.

My wife ordered her steak with mushrooms... read more The waitress was really friendly, but there were no napkins available, so we had to use hand towels from the bathroom. My wife ordered her steak with mushrooms and onions, but they had to go fetch those ingredients, and by the time they brought them out, I was almost finished with my meal. Despite this, there always seems to be something that draws us back to this place—I'm not quite sure why.

The extra meat protein bowl was very good, and the slaw was tasty as well. Banana bread was just as delicious as we remembered—though we really wished it had been pumpkin! However, the mac and cheese, cod, and french fries were just average and didn't impress us. It would be better to have fewer but higher quality options if it means adjusting the cost. It was clear that the restaurant was short-staffed, but everyone worked hard and remained friendly. Thank you!

The service at that location has al... read more Our favorite Bob Evans is in Lakeland, FL, where we first fell in love with their famous sausage gravy and Sunshine Skillet. The service at that location has always been reliable and friendly, with a positive atmosphere. The Ocala location we visited was decent, but not quite up to our usual experience. My husband ordered the sandwich and salad combo, which was reasonably priced. He enjoyed his BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich and said it was very good. The grilled chicken salad with glazed pecans and cranberries was topped with blue cheese and came with poppyseed dressing on the side. The combo included a choice of toast, biscuit, or banana bread, and my husband found the banana bread, spread with real butter, to be quite enjoyable. I opted for a bowl of their hearty chicken noodle soup. It was just okay and felt like it was lacking something special. Even my husband, who prefers milder flavors, thought it was a bit bland and ended up adding salt. Next time, I think I'll stick to my favorite Bob Evans breakfast items.
