We had breakfast with our party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) we felt super welcome and they were accommodating of our kids. The spread was delicious and had a great variety. They ensured our peanut allergy kid was safe. View all feedback.

Excellent fresh grilled Turbot taken off the bone at out table but disappointing that there was only one small bowl of potatoes and salad between 3 of us
Stunning location looking up the coastline watching the sunset. Followed by excellent food. Fabulous fish dishes for sharing or for one
Each year, for many years, we have spent several weeks in this area of Portugal and have eaten at several restaurants occupying this beautiful location. On this occasion, we visited Mare for the first time. The food was good (soup/pica pau do mar, followed grilled fresh fish). The location warrants the premium price and the intention is clearly to provide service to match. We received a warm welcome. Initially, the service was excellent, although our main courses arrived within seconds of clearing our starters, perhaps a little too quickly. From that point, as the restaurant became busier (not full) the service went downhill. We didn't receive any further attention until our main course dishes were cleared an hour later and, having waited a further 15 minutes without any offer of drinks, puddings, desserts or coffee, we stood, paid our bill and left. Sadly, the experience started well, but was an overall disappointment.
We were only at this hotel one night and chose this restaurant because of the view and their emphasis on seafood. We ordered the local seafood stew and it was excellent. Our server was excellent as were all the employees on this property. I would recommend this restuarant if you want super fresh seafood!
My expectations of this restaurant in a MARRIOTT resort plus homes and townhomes golf community were low. The views were great and the fish could not be any fresher. Service was awesome andm prices were more than fair. TheViews vviews were great, the fish could not be any

Fresh fish and shellfish. Really lovely friendly staff
Came here for a drink to settle the Friday night with my partner, Carlos was straight to us, getting us blankets and a light for our table as we sat out in the cold so we could watch the stars, Carlos... we will be back for dinner hopefully on Saturday night make sure you have the blankets. Cold September. Haha.
Very busy the night we went, but service was slow. The seafood pasta we got was very basic macaroni. Overpriced for what it is, but nice sunset spot
Superb fish restaurant with lovely staff. Nice atmosphere cannot understand the low rating!
