The overall impression is great, the guest room is very nice and cozy. The entire staff is consistently friendly, everything is lovingly prepared. And the most important food: it is always a pleasure to eat here, there is nothing to complain! Very good quality and a great menu, here is something for everyone. They don't do anything wrong with a dish because everything is delicious. Go! Unfortunately we did not take photos of our food, because when this food comes to the table, you don't think about it anymore;

We happened upon Almenhof on a hike from Oberstdorf, and we will definitely be back. Service was good, the server was friendly and congenial, and the food was good. We will plan to return for a music evening next summer. It is located conveniently for...the bus back to Oberstdorf

Our party of adults, children ate at the Almenhof on Christmas night The food was very reasonably priced and all meals were excellent, catering for those who wanted more traditional fare eg. the trio of dumplings, local produce eg. the...steaks, as well as fish fingers and chips for one of the children. The live music from the accordion and guitar, with a bit of yodelling thrown in, really added to the atmosphere and was loud enough for us to hear over our chat, but wasn't at all intrusive. Menus were in English, which helped us nonGerman speakers, although the waitress had a bit of trouble translating the dishes back to German. Overall, it really made our Christmas Day
