What User doesn't like about Restaurant Berggasthaus Urnerstaffel:
The only advantage of the restaurant is the landscape around. The service is relatively slow as most of the time in Switzerland. We ordered Gulash soup and Bouillon with egg. Both soups were too salty. Bouillon was from a cube or something like that, it was not natural. Schnitzel for 24 Francs looks big. Beer and most (Swiss cider) cost 5.70. View all feedback.

This must have been the worst meal we had and the most expensive through Germany. The owner had no words in English and was a bit rude. The steak was hard and vegetables were cooked from s package then cheap package sauce added. Wine and beer were great, but hey, they have to touch them. Decor from the 70s stay away if you can

Meine Kollegin und ich haben mit zwei kleinen Kindern (3 und 5) ein super cooles Wochnende im Berggasthaus Urnerstaffel verbracht. Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht aber haben ein hübsches Zimmer bekommen. Alles war da sogar ein Kinderbettchen war vorhanden (mit Disney Bettwäsche). Das Essen war super lecker und es gab genug. Auch Preis-Leistung stimmt total. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und das ganze Berggasthaus ist sehr auf Kinder eingestellt. Es hat auch ganz viele Spiele (für gross und klein) welche man benutzen kann. Draussen hat es auch einen riesigen Spielplatz wo Kinder aller Altesstufen herumtoben können. Die Kinder hatten riesigen Spass daran. Nicht weit entfehrt ist auch der "Zwärgliweg". Der ist auch für Kinder sehr gut geeignet. Ich kann das Berggasthaus Urnerstaffel wirklich wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir werden nächsts Jahr wieder dorthin gehen.

We (6 adults, 3 kids) stayed overnight. First of all quite pricey for the fact that the rooms are very simple with shared bath and shower, no towels for showering etc. The food served for dinner is good, fair prices. The owner (who was attending us at dinner) wasn't very friendly, always had a very bothered expression and really got irritated when one child accidentally spilled his sirup on the (apparently) freshly cleaned linoleum flooring. We didn't feel welcome at all.
