Description

On Main Street beside Oberlin College, this Subway serves clean, updated fast‑casual sandwiches — including a veggie patty — and draws students and locals for quick lunches. Many praise the friendly staff and neat interiors, but experiences vary: expect slow service at peak times, occasional order mistakes, poor communication and rare unexpected closures or refund disputes. A convenient option for a fast bite, best avoided during busy periods if you need reliability.

Poor Customer Service. It's fast food, so I don't expect top-notch service, but it seems this Subway only hires people who were let go from other fast food places for being incompetent. I’ve visited at various times of the day, and even when they were busy, I’ve only encountered unfriendly employees. I can confidently say that this Subway will never see another penny from me.

You must try the Chicken Flatizza topped with parmesan pepper and oregano. It's incredible!

Pretty standard Subway location in downtown Oberlin. With all of the great restaurants surrounding it, it's hard to pick this over the local fare, but if you just need a quick bite and are in a hurry, this is a very serviceable Subway location. Parking out front on Main Street can be a bit tricky to find a spot during the busier hours of the day and weekends.

It's a franchised subway, there's nothing particular about this location. Expect sandwiches of perfectly acceptable quality.

Our local Subway's prices have gone up dramatically, and portions have gotten skimpier. What was a $5 is now $5.75, and if you're getting a veggie sub I would think that they would consider putting more than a few shreds of lettuce on it. As much as I like Subway over the greasier fare that is offered to the lunch crowd in Oberlin, I may just have to stop going. I'll give them a few weeks and then go back to see if I get the same service. Guess I'll be brown-bagging it for now.
