We went up the vineyard with a h... read more I went to a class reunion and we had an overnight stay. After our arrival, a wine hike was organized for us at the Bähr winery. We went up the vineyard with a handcart filled with wine, bread and water. At every fork or bend there was a new wine to try and relevant information, not just about the wine also about the vines and their care. In the evening there was an unforgettable seasonal 5-course menu in the hotel, accompanied by a schnapps tasting at the end. The whole thing is looked after by very friendly and attentive staff and boss. Despite the amount of alcohol that was available, everyone got to their rooms in a controlled manner and slept well in their beds. After being rested, they had a good breakfast buffet. Billing and departure were well organized and went smoothly. In summary: Simply recommend the Hotel Renchtalblick and the Bähr winery.

The room was spacious but lacked amenities like... read more The hotel has a great location, it's a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are ample parking spaces available. The room was spacious but lacked amenities like coffee or tea making. The breakfast wasn't the most outstanding, but it was ok. You had your normal choices of bread, jams, cheese, and meat. Service: 4
