La Toscana Ristorante - Oberkirch

I stayed with my family night in Oberkirch and we had dinner times in theis restaurant. The Italian owner is very friendly, the restaurant manager is a nice welcoming lady and the waiters are helpful. The food is very good, we tried almost...everything, I recommend fresh seabass if available, pastas are also good and the beer is super

Visited for a late lunch. Almost empty but accepted us and our dog. Ambience typical Tuscan pretty place next to flowing river. Service was fine and food also OK if unremarkable. Waiter was kind enough and offered the dog water. Limited Menu but sufficient....Difficult to judge what kind of a restaurant this would be at a busier time. We would go back

We visited the restaurant with three people looking for a good pizza and we found just that... Friendly people served us, first we had the garlic bread and each of us took a different pizza. I can advise the diavola in case you like spicy...food. My wife made her own customized version which was no problem at all. All Pizza's had a very well prepared crust not to soft. We took the dry montepulciano wine which I can certainly advise. At the end of our meal we got each a small ice cream on the house. Would certainly come back here..

Had a reasonably average meal there with my wife over dinner. We found the first waiter to seat us very friendly but then it went a bit downhill from there. The staff were OK but the food was unfortunately sub par. Also for them unluckily...my standards were high as I had just returned from Italy so I could compare, but there food was really not the best Italian I had had. I had a pizza and my wife a seafood pasta. Both could have been better. But that is not the reason for not going back. I am sure there are better dishes on the menu. the reason came when I had to settle the bill. out of nowhere came this young girl and said I must pay my bill in cash. I said no. I will pay with my credit card. Then she gave a bit of attitude and proceeded to dishearteningly fetch the card machine after I explained I do not have enough cash. I don't know what kind of operation they are running there but cards and mobile payments are for certain the future

We needed a quick pizza and it was fast and tasty. We ordered a Diavolo and Parma pizza at and had it delivered to Nesselried at which was fast and fresh. I can definitely recommend the pizza there and the prices are very...reasonable
