We are at Etive last night. Undoubtedly one of the best meals I've ever had in Oban. David was such an excellent host and John was making magic in the kitchen.... read more We are at Etive last night. Undoubtedly one of the best meals I've ever had in Oban. David was such an excellent host and John was making magic in the kitchen. I was driving so David came up with an imaginative and delicious non alcoholic cocktail for me alongside my husband's negroni. The chicken liver parfait was so delicate and the squid and chorizo starter was delicious and just the right size. 2 rib eye steaks cooked exactly as we wanted them, fabulously crunchy chips and sweet ripe tomatoes in the salad. David's recommendations of wine to go with each course were spot on. What a wonderful evening, thank you.
