Hands down the best tortta that this American had in her life. And I'm not a slip when it comes to an excellent sandwich of any origin. The young chef uses perfectly crusty bollard rolls that are not a joke the length of her forearm but twice the size. It heats meat and cheese on the grill, spreads mayonnaise on each cut side of Bolillo and grills it, then the melted mass of meat and cheese slides on the bread before it slices of pickled jalapeño or squirts of a spicy/sweet red salsa. We ordered to share a Texana (arrachera, Manchego, y tocino con salsa). It was amazing savory, multi-textural and just oh-so-satisfying. 90 pesos, or just under $5. They also had Cubanas, Hawaiiana and many other types of irresistible flavor combinations.
Friendly staff and nice accessible menu for tourists. Best Tortas I had all over Mexico. Big part and real mummy.
