It boasts a spacious and bright atmosphere, complete with a large open fireplace. The open-plan kitchen overlooks the dining space and showcases an 1800s coffee grinder, further contributing to its charming aesthetic. Outside, you'll find an Al Fresco area with umbrellas and stone seating, perfect for enjoying a meal in the fresh air. In the back, a generous walled courtyard features an original well and hand pump, enhancing the historical feel. The lunch and brunch menu, complemented by daily specials on a chalkboard, offers a delightful range of options. During our visit, we enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee and a delicious cake, all in a relaxed and pleasant setting. The restaurant is open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, seven days a week, with dinner service available on Friday and Saturday evenings. It's definitely worth a visit!

I wasn't particularly hungry, but I couldn't resist trying a homemade steak sandwich, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious. Despite the winter chill, it was well worth the visit, though the icy fog as I arrived in Oatlands in the morning did remind me of Silent Hill.
