Here for working day Sunday brunch. due to unforeseen circumstances they were only briefly occupied (only two employees we had to wait for our coffee and meal, but the staff was so good under pressure (also very friendly and professional to do with a degrunted customer! great eating, good coffee and a great friendly service despite under pressure. thank you girls. they are good

We came for an early morning coffee and a scoone, the personal was friendly and happy to open when we arrived a few minutes before the opening. the frittata was a touch expensive, but it was delicious and filled me. coffee was good, perfect temperature, its classic coffee. I will be back in the future, thanks the roost!

This is only one coffee shop opened in the early Sunday morning near Brydone Hotel. We want to try something different and apparently it was a good choice. Benedict egg muffin is nice and my daughter was happy for her free fluffy and cake

Great cheese rolls and not cooked in a sandwich press. In oven so nice and hot and crispy, just like a good southland cheese roll.

Visited a year ago and had really good muesli and fresh seasonal fruit. Was looking forward to same but they'd had a busy weekend and had run out of muesli. Had adequate poached eggs and bacon. Not well presented. Very basic fair.
