Midori Japanese Sushi Bar And Restaurant

We were all very pleased with our dining experience and will definitely return and recommend Midori to others. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the seating was reasonably comfortable. There are plenty of meal options available, including rice dishes, stir-fry, and sushi, as well as drinks and desserts. There are also customer restrooms available. Additionally, the outdoor seating area is lovely for customers who prefer to sit outside in the garden, especially during the summer—though it might be better to wait until the warmer months as we are currently in winter. Overall, Midori is quickly becoming one of my family's favorites in Oamaru for a great meal!

Absolutely delicious food! The bento boxes are fantastic, and the sushi is incredibly fresh. A true gem in Oamaru!

I have ordered takeaway twice and both times the food has been excellent!! The salmon collection is my favorite. Today I thought I would order the vegetable sushi collection, as I love inari. I was shocked to find the vegetable sushi to be amazing! I love raw fish, and yet this fishless sushi was incredibly good! I have never eaten in the restaurant, as I have very small children, however I have noticed that the waitress is very attentive, they have a full bar, the atmosphere is nice and quiet, and there is a beautiful outdoor seating area for those nice days! I look forward to returning again and again! Thank you!
