Interesting in all mixed reviews. We've been three times since the opening. We've always been picking up. The food is ready very quickly. The food was very good. The parts are big. Prices are comparable to other locations. We ordered pizza, salads and sandwiches with good success. It seems to be a working open kitchen that wore staff masks, I have never noticed any bad smell or it is dirty. If I wanted to sit down an... View all feedback.
What Mg834 doesn't like about Sorrento's Pizza:
Not the same!. I have been ordering the antipasta for years there before the new owners took over. While it was basically the same, the amount of lunchmeat they put on there was nothing compared to how much they put on with the other owners. Also I used to always receive bread with it and did not get any. Plus it cost more. While it was not bad, it is not the same. Less food for more money. But I would give it anothe... This has become my new favorite local pizzeria! I love their salads and chicken parmesan. They even offer fresh smoothies, which is a nice bonus. I'm really glad I decided to give it a try, and I will definitely be coming back!
This restaurant has received a mix of reviews, but we've visited three times since it opened and have always opted for takeout. The food is prepared quickly and has consistently been very good. The portions are generous, and the prices are on par with other places. We've tried the pizza, salads, and sandwiches, all of which have been great. It appears to be an open kitchen where the staff wears masks, and I've never noticed any unpleasant odors or cleanliness issues. If I were to dine in, I'd prefer the atmosphere at Stella. However, I often find myself waiting in line at Stella on a Friday night after picking up food. I recommend giving this place a chance; you might really enjoy it!
Not quite the same! I've been ordering the antipasto here for years, even before the new owners took over. While it had a similar taste, the amount of lunch meat they include now is far less than what the previous owners offered. I also used to always receive bread with my order, but this time there was none. To top it off, the price was higher. Although it wasn’t bad, it just doesn’t measure up to what it used to be—less food for more money. However, I’m willing to give it another shot before deciding to stop going!
This is the second-best pizza I've had in South Jersey (the best for me is Raymond's in Collingswood, but they're only open about four days a week). I've tried around 15 pizzerias in and around Oaklyn, where I live, and this is my second favorite. If only they accepted credit cards and offered delivery, I would probably enjoy this pizza twice a month. However, since they don’t, I only visit when I really crave pizza, have cash on hand, and when delivery from other places would take too long. The crust is nice, not too greasy, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio is excellent.
This restaurant used to serve the best cheesesteaks, but unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The chicken cheesesteak I had was really disappointing. I won't be returning. There are definitely better options out there.
