The Bento House - Oakland

Grab lunch here 2-3 times a week. I really enjoy the Korean Bbimbap with Bulgogi and Vegetables and Grilled chicken Avocado RollFood: 5/5

Nothing too fancy but the chicken teriyaki and the rice especially was really good, better than most other places.Food: 5/5

I really love this little place. The waitress (I believe also the owner and chef) is super kind and friendly. The food is really tasty and the portions are quite substantial. Now.. is this the BEST bento in the Bay Area? No. It’s not. But it’s not trying to be. It’s tasty and quick and a great option for midday meals.I love the beef and chicken bulgogi equally and I always order with a beer. Not sure how but she’s got the coldest ever in Old Oakland.Also, beautiful orchids!!

Wanted to support local…. But two hairs in the food! One in my order and one in my friends… cmon.

Walked up to order and the lady working there informed us she couldn't fix us food because there were already a lot of people there. There were about 6 people sitting down to eat. Very strange situation. Thumbs down to this establishment.
