Southern Cafe - Oakland

I never come back to this place that kept me waiting for a half hour for cold food! the grilled cheese of my child was the only good thing that was warm when I came home and I live five minutes away! how can this place be over the eating network and serve me watery stone cold pfirsich kicker! Make it better, but don’t worry that I will never be back!

I only make reviews when I had too many bad experiences. So let me say that it is good or at least what I get, which is the southern fried chicken flour with dressing and makkaroni. Now today 03/13/2022 I called an order at 18:18 a.m., I was told that they stopped the orders on the phone at 6:30 a.m., but I had until 6:30 a.m. to come to the window and order. I meet at 6:25 and the young lady with pink rubber bands in her hair takes a job and sees me, my engaged and 1 other person in line before 6:30, exactly at 6:30 o'clock we come to the window and the young lady tells me they don't take orders anymore. I am as if they had seen us before 6:30 in the line and repeated what I was told about the phone and obviously she could take care less! the customer service must be addressed with the management. because the customer service does not have a big time! and this is the third opportunity where I have received terrible customer service, so I have done to protect this business. they finally get a second phone because the half of the time nobody answers.

It's good. Except they must have different chefs. because it is sometimes so salty, they cannot eat it.

Here in san francisco by mississippi. very good customer service. service was extremely fast and employees in the window exceptionally friendly. it was ecstatic to finally get soul food. I ordered fish, “Yes” mac and cheese and cornbread. eat extremely bland, yams not sweet at all, but overall large customer service.

I came all the way from Anchorage, Alaska for a different reason but I learned about this establishment on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I was not disappointed. Some of the “BEST” Soul Food ever. I had Short Ribs with rice gravy, collard greens, and yams. Delicious
