Always fun eating here. Huge menu with tons of tasty options for any meal. We came in for dessert, mentioned it was a friends bday and they surprised us with a cute, and tasty, waffle and bday candle. And they sang. Yay! So kind. We felt the love. And the dessert was fun. Light jelly with fruit and ice cream. The addition of the hot fresh waffle made it perfect and well balanced. View all feedback.
What ChihMing H doesn't like about Shooting Star Cafe:
Ordered the baked pork chop. A lot of rice and not much else. The flavor wasn't great either. Only ate 1/3 of it before stopping. The popcorn chicken was pretty good though. Slightly salty but overall decent flavor. Place basically is hit or miss depending on what you order. Some great dishes, some not so great ones. View all feedback.
The lunch specials are such a great deal. Some of items come with a drink. I added on an iced milk tea for $1.25 to my salted chicken noodle $11). It really hit the spot. Very classic Hong Kong style eatery with all kinds of dishes. They can be pretty busy and the wait can take a while. Pricing is amazing though.

Nothing too crazy going on here. Just a good ol Asian cafe/restaurant with a nice vibe. Drinks are hit or miss and food is good but not mind blowing. Will try to come again and see how their desserts are.

Pretty solid and to the point HK cafe. They have lots of drinks and foods to choose from. Wait can get a little long during the weekends.
