The restaurant offers excellent vegetarian options. I tried the Abbeys vegetarian combo and the baklava. The combo included four classic dishes typically found in an Ethiopian vegetarian platter—two red lentil dishes, one yellow lentil, a side of cabbage, carrot, and potato, some salad, and a delightful okra dish that I particularly enjoyed. The red lentils were especially tasty. I also loved the baklava. The injera was a bit more sour than I usually prefer, but overall, the food was fantastic.
The Eritrean food here is absolutely delicious! It's the perfect spot to order 3-4 dishes to share with friends and sample a variety of flavors. Every main dish we tried was fantastic, but don’t miss out on their Sambosas! The prices are reasonable, the food is truly tasty, and the owner is wonderful. Come and support this local gem!
