Sequoia Diner - Oakland

Really excellent food. The pecan roll is out of this world. They get a little busy and then it's a little bit slow getting to you but still worth it and the people are very nice. Try the lavender latte!

The wait was worth it. Breakfast came hot and ready. The service was hands down excellent as well as the **** Mary. Oh! I forgot the coffee . I can smell it now. Smooth.

Lovely brunch at 1pm on a sunday, worth the 40 minute wait. We shared a Chilaquiles verde with house made chorizo and a side of potatoes; both were incredibly flavourful! The lavendar latte was pretty and, though a bit too sweet for my taste, enjoyable. Our server was friendly, attentive, and fast.

Best breakfast place in Oakland. There’s a plant based breakfast with delicious mushrooms, braised greens, spinach, hash, avocados and it’s just so amazingly done. The biscuits are outstanding and the Shakshouka is superb! Love their orange juice and tumeric tonic strong and a knock out! Definitely will b back!

Waffle and a No. 1 breakfast sandwich ish go to, and it’s outstanding. I’ve never had anything bad from here. Cute place, amazing food, service is friendly but not always quick. It does get busy so get there early on the weekends or during down-times.
