I really enjoy the ambiance and some of the dishes, but I must say that the eggplant parmesan has been a bit of a letdown. This was the dish we always came for, but unfortunately, it seems to change every time we visit. The first time we tried it, the eggplant was thin and crispy, the tomato sauce was delicious, and the cheese was perfect. However, on subsequent visits, the eggplant became thicker, the crust less crunchy, yet the sauce and cheese remained the same. Most recently, the eggplant was very thick—about 1.5 inches—and the crust was soggy, as if it had been fried and then reheated, losing its crunch altogether. Additionally, the cooks were chatting loudly, making it difficult to have a quiet conversation with my partner during our 13th anniversary dinner. I would definitely recommend trying it for yourself to see what you think. The polenta, potatoes, and pasta are still very good!
