Layla’s Kitchen - Oakland

We had Layla's Kitchen for the first time this evening. Everything was phenomenal. The food was cooked to order, so it was fresh and hot. We tried the Falafel Sandwich+ Fries, BBQ Nachos, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken on a Stick. It is hard to pick a favorite. You won't be disappointed!

This is by far the best Philly Beef and Philly Chicken sandwich I have ever ate! If you don't want to get addicted to this food then don't try it! You will never be the same once you have eaten this food! They are clean and they cook fresh food when you order it! No leftover dried out scraps from Layla's plus they are just a good family, who care about the customer and the service they give you! Five stars isn't enough! They are 100 are the way!

We had the burger and chicken Philly and it was great! Definitely will go back. Expect to wait 10-20mins for your food but worth the wait!

For a restaurant that is attached to a gas station station I was pleasantly surprised by the food and space. It's a family owned restaurant and they are very friendly and pretty funny. There's a cute little diner set up to wait for your food which is cooked fresh so they do have a little wait time once you place your order. I will say you should call Ahead to cut down on wait time. Don't complain it is taking too long, they let you know it's cooked to order. The wings were really good. Loved the garlic parm flavor because it was wet and used grated parm. Very well seasoned. The chicken gyro was not your traditional gyro but still very delicious. The fries were meh, nothing to brag about. I'd go back again and try some other things on their menu.
